About PBL Elite

Who we are

A group of 30 plus year olds trying to find an outlet to express our competitive spirits. We love the game of basketball but we're frustrated we can't make it to the NBA. Either we didn't have the skills, didn't have the height, didn't have the support, or we got married, had kids, realized there's more to life than basketball but can't let go, <insert other excuses here>, or all of the above (I think you get the picture).

So we created a league that would allow us to play our hearts out with like minded individuals and give us something better to do than toil away at our simpleton lives, enhance camaraderie amongst peers, make new connections to help support our youtube channels (just kidding, we don't have one ... yet) and create a community.

Oh and did we say we play Friday nights? because that's when simpleton like us usually have time to get away from all of the busy-ness of life, and a great way to work out all that stress from work over to players who don't want a part of the stress you are going through but you give it anyways.

If this fits your description, maybe you'd consider joining. Fill out the contact form below or reach out to our commissioners:

frequently ASKED QUESTIONS

Absolutely. Let the commish know your intent upon joining. He'll reach out for questions and to confirm.

Yes - PBL Elite Jerseys are required starting Season 2. We draft and design jerseys that are meant to last multiple seasons. We will refresh designs annually and players can avail the new jerseys if they choose. Jerseys are pre ordered so players pay an upfront fee to lock their name/number in. These have to be purchased separately and not part of the league fees. It costs $70 for a set of home and away jerseys.

YES! We love sponsors. Reach out to our commish to discuss details!

They think like 30 year olds and identify as such. Just kidding. Younger players are vetted by the league commissioners before being allowed to play to assure fair matchups.

None of your business. ... Just kidding. You have a right to know. - The commissioners allow the previous champions to keep their original squad while the league around them gets redrafted. The commissioners decide based on their preferred playing positions and experience during the draft.

Yes we can. It's just going to be difference in cost reflected in league fees depending on where we are playing. And some players may decide it's too far for them. And maybe schedules will have to be changed. And ... maybe not unless we have adequate time to plan ahead and get consensus from the members. If you have a preference, or know of a good spot, feel free to suggest.
